Menasha Employees Credit Union was founded as a closed chartered credit union on March 17, 1953. We were established to provide financial services to employees and their family members, of the City of Menasha, and its various departments, Menasha School District and the Menasha Electric and Water Utilities. Employees and family members of the Menasha Post Office and parochial schools located in Menasha were added later to our family of eligible members.
Our current field of membership is defined as follows: Serving employees of organizations, or members of groups that provide services for the City of Menasha, Town of Menasha and Town of Harrison businesses or citizens and their families.
The credit unions first "office" was located under the stairs at the old Main Street fire station. The credit union moved to what was fondly called "the little green building" on First Street, and then in 1988 we moved to our current location at 310 Appleton Street, after a brief stop at the old city hall building.
At Menasha Employees Credit Union, "Once A Member, Always A Member," means all our services are available to members in good standing, even if they retire, change jobs, or move away.
